Songwriter

David Morgan’s pop, rock and jazz melodies have moved audiences for years.  Songs like Soulmate, Wishing Well, Ani Shelach, Min Hametzar and Sometimes have appeared on three of Neshama Carlebach’s albums and have become favorites of her fans worldwide.  He co-wrote several punk/swing songs for the band Devil Doll that ultimately led to a record deal with Geffen Records and was produced by David Kershenbaum (Joe Jackson, Tracy Chapman).  His three jazz albums are filled with wonderfully creative and beautiful melodies that truly move the soul.  Ordinary Glory, his new pop album once again testifies to his incredible gift of writing truly memorable melodies.

“For me it’s all about the melody.  I want to write songs that people can’t stop singing and that transport them to a different place.  The greatest songs of all time have these enduring melodies and I want to be a part of that tradition.”
